Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis is a great shot, in many ways! The focus is sharp and the bokeh in the background and over the water is really beautiful. The model's expression reflects the title well and I love the position of her arm and hair.
I think the biggest thing that's taking away from the photograph is the composition. My suggestion would be to crop more of the background behind the model out and show us more of the water in front of her. I think the square crop looks great and how the model fits within the frame is wonderful as well, but with her positioned right in the middle, it makes it a little flat. There isn't really anything behind her that's visually appealing, but the water looks gorgeous - bringing more of that into the frame would really make this image perfect.
Having said that, the best thing about it is the lighting. I absolutely love it. The colors and exposure are mesmerizing, especially the golden light reflecting off the water. The halo of light behind her hair really draws all of the attention to the model and none of the image looks overblown, despite that sunlit reflection. Again, great shot!
