My rating might seem like an average score, but don't think that means that your work is terrible. Far from it.

Vision
I'm afraid I don't see much of a vision here. If there is one, it's not a unique one. I know what you were trying to do, capture a ladybird and the beauty of a flower. That you did. However, there are other things you can do with ladybirds and flowers to make it more unique. For example, catch them early in the morning covered in dew. You could place them on a log with a flower resting next to them. All of this adds a new dimension to a photograph. Think before you press the shutter.

Originality
Ties in with the above comment. These types of shots are posted everyday on deviantART. While most, like this, are fairly decent shots, they have become rather boring. People need to strive further to be picked out from the masses of photos on this site.

Technique
Here's a fun bit. The DOF isn't great here. Too much of the flower, and the back of the ladybird, is out of focus. You need to increase your Depth of Field (increase the apperture) because more needs to be put into focus. At the moment it looks asif it is hovering.

Impact
I'm sorry to say the impact here isn't too great. The colours are good, that's the most impacting part. It all comes down to uniqueness.

Sorry if this depresses you! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a…" width="19" height="19" alt="^^;" title="Sweating a little..."/> It is what critique is, however.

Keep it up though, you'll get that perfect shot some time!
